I blame it on fatigue…

15 Nov

What I saw was an unidentifiable image lurking in my peripheral vision. It was blocking my view. It was that plus a dark street without street lights that made me believe my loc was closing in on me and fast! I jerk my head in the direction of my loc only to realize that my mind had told me something that was not true. There was no criminal to fend off, just a long loc swaying with my motions. To that end, it is because my hair is getting longer. I should be celebrating, instead of shadow boxing. I’m just saying. lol. Karate chopping dead air is not a good look!

I am fatigued because I have been studying and preparing for several test and writing papers, working full time, and needing rest. To add to today’s challenges I had a headache ALL day so that was the perfect storm for ‘the dreadlock monster’ to strike.
